Abstract
This article deals with a tepetlacalli or stone casket produced in the Basin of Mexico at the end of the Postclassic period. The article discusses the functions and meanings of stone caskets in Central Mexico and offers interpretations of the symbolism of this exceptional piece
 
En este artículo se da a conocer un tepetlacalli o cofre de piedra elaborado en algún lugar de la Cuenca de México a fines del periodo Posclásico. En este artículo se discuten las funciones y los significados de los cofres de piedra en el centro de México y se avanzan propuestas sobre el simbolismo de esta excepcional pieza
