Abstract

This work presents the paleographic transcription and translation of Chapter 23 from Book VI of the Florentine Codex, focusing on aspects of daily life among the ancient Mexica. Ignacio Silva Cruz transcribes the original Nahuatl text into modern Latin characters and translates it into Spanish, including linguistic and cultural notes to contextualize the content. The chapter provides insights into social roles, labor practices, and customs in Mexica society

Este trabajo presenta la paleografía y traducción del capítulo 23 del libro VI del Códice florentino, centrado en aspectos de la vida cotidiana de los antiguos mexicas.
