Pomar y Muñoz Camargo en el contexto histórico-historiográfico de la Nueva España
Abstract
Este artículo analiza las obras de dos cronistas mestizos, Juan Bautista de Pomar y Diego Muñoz Camargo, situándolas en el contexto histórico e historiográfico de la Nueva España. Se discute su identidad mestiza y su papel en la producción de crónicas que reflejan tanto las tradiciones indígenas como las influencias coloniales. A través de una revisión crítica de sus textos, se busca reexaminar la percepción de sus escritos en la historiografía contemporánea y su relevancia para comprender la historia indígena y mestiza en el período colonial
