Abstract
This work aims to analyze the power relations involved in the trial of the music teachers Miguel Guarapi and Juan Caguari, for having committed the crime of sodomy with several minors. The tensions among the local authorities in Santo Angelo in the postJesuit context, as well as the social group of the defendants are considered. The categories and euphemisms juxtaposed in the document and in the archival classification are examined as well Este trabajo analiza las relaciones involucradas en el proceso abierto contra los maestros de música guaraníes Miguel Guarapi y Juan Caguari, por haber cometido el delito de sodomía con varios menores. Se consideran las tensiones entre las autoridades locales de Santo Ángelo en el contexto post-jesuita y el grupo social de los imputados. Se examinan
