Abstract

This bulletin provides a detailed geographical and statistical description of the Department of Querétaro, Mexico. It focuses on transportation infrastructure, including roads (rugged and with improvement projects for commerce) and bridges (three large and nine smaller ones), as well as causeways (Santa Rosa and La Cañada). It also addresses water resources, detailing 76 potable springs and 7 thermal springs, with a breakdown by district. Furthermore, the text presents geographical data such as latitude, longitude, and altitude, and an exhaustive classification of lands, including their quality, distribution by use (haciendas, legal settlements, communal lands, wastelands), and the impact of vegetation. Trees, shrubs, and plants are listed, highlighting their use (fruit-bearing, medicinal, timber, forage), and the production of maguey, firewood, and charcoal. Este boletín proporciona una descripción geográfica y estadística detallada del Departamento de Querétaro, México. Se centra en la infraestructura de transporte, incluyendo caminos (fragosos y con proyectos de mejora para el comercio) y puentes (tres grandes y nueve menores), así como las calzadas (Santa Rosa y La Cañada). También aborda los recursos hídricos, detallando 76 manantiales potables y 7 termales, con un desglose por distrito.
