El documento analiza críticamente varias ediciones y traducciones de textos históricos relacionados con la cultura y calendario mexica. Se destacan errores de edición, supresión de fragmentos claves y traducciones inexactas que afectan la comprensión histórica. Además, se señala la importancia de una edición crítica completa que preserve el rigor original de las fuentes. El estudio también aborda las dificultades en el entendimiento de los sistemas calendáricos indígenas y sus correlaciones con los cálculos europeos.
