Abstract
This study provides a detailed analysis of the central chapter of the Borgia codex, unveiling its role as an integrated representation of the Mesoamerican cycle of 18 feasts. By examining the manuscript’s iconography and structure, it explores the ceremonies, calendars, and symbols that articulate pre-Hispanic agricultural, astronomical, and social festivities, offering new insights into the interpretation of ritual cosmology and calendrical systems Este estudio ofrece un análisis detallado del capítulo central del códice Borgia, revelando su función como representación integrada del ciclo ritual de las 18 fiestas mesoamericanas. A través de la iconografía y estructura del manuscrito, se exploran las ceremonias, calendarios y símbolos que articulan las festividades agrícolas, astronómicas y sociales prehispánicas, aportando nuevas perspectivas a la interpretación de la cosmología y el calendario ritual
