Abstract

This work analyzes the manuscripts of Fray Bernardino de Sahagún, highlighting his use of the Nahuatl language and indigenous collaboration to document the history and culture of ancient Mexico. It examines the evolution and revision of his texts, including the "Primeros Memoriales" and the Florentine Codex, showing how Sahagún combined indigenous sources and his linguistic knowledge to preserve ancestral traditions and knowledge

Este trabajo analiza los manuscritos de Fray Bernardino de Sahagún, destacando su uso de la lengua náhuatl y la colaboración indígena para documentar la historia y cultura del México antiguo.
