Abstract
This study analyzes Sahagún's Coloquios, highlighting the encounter between indigenous and Christian conceptions of ceremonial speech and divine word. It explores the reinterpretation of Nahuatl texts by Franciscans and the complex cultural dialogue during evangelization in 16th-century Mexico
 
Este estudio analiza los Coloquios de Sahagún, destacando el encuentro entre las concepciones indígenas y cristianas sobre el discurso ceremonial y la palabra divina. Se explora la reinterpretación de los textos náhuatl por parte de los franciscanos y la complejidad del diálogo cultural durante la evangelización en el México del siglo XVI
