”Centlalia” and ”Nonotza” in the Writings of Sahagún: a New Interpretation of his Missiological Vision

This study examines the use of the Nahuatl verbs "centlalia" and "nonotza" in the works of Bernardino de Sahagún, highlighting their significance in depicting important social and spiritual gatherings. The research provides a new interpretation of Sahagún's missiological vision and evangelization strategy, blending indigenous tradition with Christian doctrine

Este estudio analiza el uso de los verbos nahuas "centlalia" y "nonotza" en las obras de Bernardino de Sahagún, revelando su importancia en la representación de reuniones y consejos de gran relevancia social y espiritual. A través de esta investigación, se ofrece una nueva interpretación de la visión misional y la estrategia evangelizadora de Sahagún, que combina elementos de la tradición indígena con la doctrina cristiana
