Abstract

This document presents the testimony of Leonides Román Salazar Estrada, an Oaxacan fighter who actively participated in the Mexican Revolution from its beginnings in 1910 through the 1920s. His account offers a direct and personal perspective on key events and military battles in Oaxaca and other regions, as well as the internal dynamics of the revolutionary forces. The testimony highlights the importance of popular voices in historical reconstruction, providing details and experiences that complement the more traditional and official view of the Mexican Revolution
